Ballet Virginia will be closed for Memorial Day Weekend from Saturday, May 28 through Monday, May 30. Classes will resume on Tuesday, May 31.
Saturday, June 11th will be the last day of the academy year at Ballet Virginia.
Our most joyous performance of the year, Concert Classique, is Sunday, June 12th in 2022 at 4:30 PM. Day of rehearsals and the performance will be at the Sandler Center in Virginia Beach. Tickets will be on sale at Ballet Virginia in May.
Ballet Virginia will be closed for Summer Break 1 from June 13 through June 19. Summer classes begin on Monday, June 20.
Ballet Virginia’s summer programs begin with a session of morning, afternoon, evening and Saturday classes going from June 20 through July 30. This program is a great way to give Ballet Virginia a try if you’re not a student already. Beginners are welcome! The program runs for six-weeks with a minimum sign up of at least three-weeks.

Young dancers will be immersed in a focused environment led by Ballet Virginia’s artistic staff and professional dancers. Through a combination of ballet, pre-pointe, pointe, conditioning, modern and other specialized classes, students will improve their technique, strength, artistry and self-confidence. The Summer Workshops run from August 1 to August 12. Each week concludes with a performance.
WEEK ONE: August 1 to 5 for Levels 1 through 4 or ages 7 to 14 with prior training
WEEK TWO: August 8 to 12 for Levels 3 through 6 or ages 10 to 16 with prior training
