Emmanuel Patterson is originally from North Carolina and is a graduate from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts under the direction of Susan Jaffe and Brenda Daniels. He obtained a BFA with a concentration in ballet. His training also includes summer intensives at Alonzo King Lines Ballet and Charlotte Ballet.
While at UNCSA, he performed in contemporary and classical ballet works by Ethan Stiefel, Merce Cunningham, Alexei Kremnev and Aszure Barton. Performances in classical ballets such as Coppelia, The Nutcracker and Raymonda as well as many contemporary works make Mr. Patterson a well-rounded dancer.
