Rebecca Ailstock started dancing when she was four years old, and her professional training with Ballet Virginia at eight years old. Later, she attended the University of North Carolina School of the Arts where she earned a Bachelors in Fine arts with a concentration in ballet. After college, her career took her to Virginia National Ballet for the 2019-2020 season, under the direction of Rafik Hegab.
She has performed in contemporary and ballet pieces choreographed by George Balanchine, Goyo Montero, Ethan Stiefel, Larry Keigwin, Leonard Berstein’s “MASS” and a new work by Susan Jaffe, “Carmina Burana.”
She is thrilled to be back home with Ballet Virginia and excited for the season.
