Sydney Caggiano started her ballet training at Arts Ballet Academy in Newport News, Virginia under the direction of Emily Hill and Sandra Balestracci. She transferred to Ballet Virginia and danced in the Academy, Ballet Virginia’s second company, and as a trainee with the Professional Company during her high school years. She also studied for three summers at Carolina Ballet’s Summer Intensive Training Program.
She has danced in works by director Lydia Roberts Coco, and performed as lead Marzipan in The Nutcracker, and as one of Swanhilda‘s friends in Coppélia. Sydney is excited to start her professional career as a member of Ballet Virginia‘s company.
