Moving Forward with an Updated Logo

BALLET VIRGINIA UPDATES LOGO

Our old logo

Our old logo was created in 2008 by Bart Morris and has served us well for many years. We’ve grown a bit attached to it since it reminds us of all the good things that have happened since Ballet Virginia began.

Our new logo!

But, as we look forward after a challenging year, we think it’s time for an update. With the help of Evolv Design, Ballet Virginia’s logo has been updated but still resembles our old logo so there’s no confusion. The new logo has a modern and more sophisticated font for our name all encompassed in a purple circle.

Really cool about our new logo is that it has a dynamic version which you will soon see on our website and everywhere else online. Our designer, Patrick McCarty, suggested this to evoke movement since that’s what dance is all about.

The updated logo will slowly replace the old logo as need dictates and budget allows. We’ll be selling shirts with the new logo soon. Be on the lookout and make sure to get yourself one.

Lastly, much thanks to Patrick McCarty from Evolv Design for making Ballet Virginia look so good in print and online. He’s been doing our print and web design at a deeply discounted rate for years and we are grateful to him and all the other people who’ve helped us out along the way.
