Week 3

Everyone is home!  It has been a fun few weeks, and everyone looks stronger and taller, or I am shrinking 🙂  Either way it’s great to have all of our dancers home.

Ms Roni Mahler and Ms Lorraine Graves are teaching a few classes this week and the dancers are excited about that as well as the SERBA choreography Suzanne and I are setting on the 9 girls who are joining us on Atlanta for evaluation.  Lots of sore feet and blisters in Ballet Land.

I am looking forward to seeing all of our other dancers in Sept.  The halls and lobby will be buzzing very soon 🙂

Nutcracker schedules and posters etc are done already.  PLEASE remember to advertise to your friends family and neighbors that BVI is at the Sandler Dec 20-22.  With the other 2 organizations showing up in our community once again, people get confused and sometimes buy the wrong tickets!  Word of mouth and reminders will ensure that OUR Nutcracker will continue to be Hampton Roads OWN Nutcracker.  Our dancers deserve to have an audience.  Especially since our local talent is becoming recognized nation wide.

Our production is beautiful and we are adding new sets and drops and costumes each year.  We also add new and different choreography depending on our cast.  We will have some surprise guest artists and I will keep you informed as we secure them.

The BVI family is strong—let’s keep it growing!
